Choo Review: Are they worth it?

I just recently bought my first
pair of Jimmy Choos.

Before you ask/yell at me for spending
half my paycheck on shoes, I will let you know
that I bought them on a holiday weekend
clearance for a fraction of the price they originally
were.

Yes, they were still pretty expensive, but
my birthday is coming up, so that's my excuse.

Judge all you want!

Anyways, I bought them mainly because
they were decently priced and they were
beautiful.

My other reason for buying them
was curiosity.

Are designer shoes more
comfortable/better made than shoes I/95% of the
population buy?

I had to know!

The day they came in
the mail, I jumped for joy,
picked up my package, and
snapchated a pic of the
Jimmy Choo box.

I know... I am quite annoying,
but I was just so excited!
I have dreamed of a pair
of Jimmy Choos ever
since I saw that Hilary Duff
movie that she made with her sister.

Pinterest hasn't made my
designer shoe addiction/obsession any
easier either...

The next night, I was granted
with the PERFECT opportunity
to try out my new shoes.

I was invited to a birthday on Park Avenue.

*Little did I know that I would be, not only testing out
the comfort factor of the shoes, but I would also be testing
the shoes durability in drastic situations.*

One word.

Cobblestone

Who would have thought that the most
beautiful roadwork would be death to
all heels?

I ended up walking about a mile (not all on cobblestone, but also
on brick, and plenty of cracked pavement), all while
dreading what that confounded road was doing
to my brand new beloved pair of shoes.

*I might add, that while walking this mile, I had ZERO discomfort*

Apparently these shoes were made for walking.

It took me a good while, but I made it to the restaurant, only to
really quickly say happy birthday before checking out the most
valued item on me!

NOT A DAMN SCRATCH!

What?

How could that be? I know that I felt my poor
heel go into quite a few cracks, something
that has ripped other shoes of mine to shreds.

I'll tell you how, the heel of the shoe
is made of a very hard plasticish material, which
took those cracks like a champ!

I have never been so thankful in my life.

So, I have determined that, maybe, designer shoes
are more comfortable and well made.

Well, at least these are :)

Please let me know your reviews of designer
shoes! I would really like to know everyone's thoughts
before I go out and buy another pair one day.
