ZOOtopia?

A trip to the zoo was
just what the doctor ordered.

A few weekends ago we decided
to go to the zoo - SO WE COULD FEED
THE GIRAFFES - but we also checked out all of the
other animals too.

Once we got in, we B-lined for the giraffe

There were a ton of giraffes, but only one who seemed

to be a fatty.

Our options for giraffe food were lettuce or sweet potatoes.
The sweet potatoes were much more fun because the
giraffe would lick you in the process of getting the potato - which
maybe most people wouldn't like, but I loved the giraffe kisses!

LOVE

After getting our fill of feeding my favorite animals, we started our treck
around the park.

After checking out the different animals, we headed into the bird sanctuary.

THREE!?

After the magical experience in the sanctuary, we went on
a kayak tour of the property.

It truly was a great day at the zoo :)
