ZOOtopia?

A trip to the zoo was
just what the doctor ordered.

A few weekends ago we decided
to go to the zoo - SO WE COULD FEED
THE GIRAFFES - but we also checked out all of the
other animals too.

A Birthday & Beach Day

May 27th was my
hubby's 32nd birthday.

Every year I ask him what he would like
to do, and he always says the same thing...
"Idk...Nothing Really"

Omg! What am I supposed to do with that?
So we always just end up going to dinner - just
the two of us.

This year I decided I was going to take matters into
my own hands.

I decided to throw Ricky a surprise party.

But not just any surprise party - a
bowling surprise party.

I was even able to get
his parents to drive up for the event :)

*I feel like it is necessary for me to put my "bowling look"
in here...*

I told him we were going bowling for his birthday -
but I did not tell him there would be a party waiting for him!
And let me tell you, it is almost impossible for me to keep
secrets. So this was big.

The next day we were off to the beach!
I know, I know. We are crazy
for going to the beach
on Memorial Day Weekend, but it
really wasn't as busy as I thought it would
be.

We headed to Cocoa beach to meet
up at Coconuts for a few drinks
and then some fun in the sun!

Thank God for these babys... The sand was SCORCHING!
I feel like I should be holding up an ice cream cone in this pic. #instagramready

Damn Steph, perfectly posed legs!

Here I am, expressing my thanks to Leigh and Steph for
providing the champagne.

Ohhhh this hat... #hateit

Here is where the fun begins...

A friend from work let me borrow his reflector to try out.

So we put on quite the show of
"trying it out" lol.

I just love the golden glow it gave us!

For the following pic, we flipped the reflector over to the
white side. This obviously gave us much less of a
golden glow, but it was still pretty!

Had to get the booty shots in...

Billy Currington, a Bar, and a Game

A few weeks ago, Billy Currington
played at the Ritz in
Ybor City.

Originally, I was under the impression
that he was playing at the Ritz Carlton...

Mannnnn I was mistaken.

Not the Ritz Carlton...

A few friends, my mom, and my hubby and I
drove to Tampa for the day to see Billy play!

We arrived early saturday afternoon and decided
to give Ricky's uncle's bar a visit.

Ricky's uncle co-founded

This bar has some of the best beers around
and I'm not just saying that because
he is my uncle in law!

(Mom's first time in a bar... She loved it!)

I'm totally saying it because they have
an AMAZING coffee beer called
The Awakening.

OMGOODNESS this combines two of my favorite
things!!
Coffee and beer.

It is, maybe, the best stout beer I have ever tasted.

After grabbing a few drinks and some merchandise we headed
to the concert :D

Deb and I, boots were a must.
Paul, Deb, Me, and Ricky

Mom's first crazy concert in years!

Billy was amazing!
And he was quite the crowd pleaser :D

That ended up being one of the most
crowded concerts I had ever been to.

I guess that's what you get when
you only pay $29 a ticket!

After the concert we started the long treck home,
which really didn't take that long at 1am.

The next morning I awoke, with plans of doing
ABSOLUTELY NOTHING...

My lovely brother in law had different plans lol.
