Highland Games

Saturday, January 14 was a hot day in Florida.

Every year, in January, we head out to the Highland Games.

What are the Highland Games you ask???
Only the coolest Scottish festival in Orlando!
Imagine: Two full days of Scottish beer, music, and
historical games.
They even add in random games like quidditch as well.

Please forgive my video. I normally take much better pictures/videos - but

I was under the influence of Scottish beer most of the day... So there!

There is so much to do and see at this festival!

Sword fighting, axe throwing, bow and arrow competitions, dance competitions,

along with scotch tasting, scottish food (Haggis - YUCK),

and fun shopping.

As you stand around, enjoying your beer and listening to good music, you

tend to make friends :)

If you have never been to the Highland Games, I truly suggest you give it a try next

year! They only come once a year (mid January) for a weekend. Don't miss out!
